Terms of Service

By accessing or using SlopCheck, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use SlopCheck.

SlopCheck lets users submit website URLs for analysis. The service scans public web pages and generates reports about generic, template-like, low-specificity, or low-evidence website signals.

SlopCheck is not an AI detector and does not prove whether a website was created by AI, humans, templates, agencies, or any specific tool.

You may only submit URLs for websites that you own, control, administer, or are authorized to assess.

SlopCheck is not a scraping tool, crawling service, data extraction service, surveillance tool, or competitive intelligence tool. You are responsible for ensuring that each submitted URL may lawfully be scanned by you.

You must not use SlopCheck to scan private networks, internal systems, cloud metadata services, login-only pages, paywalled pages, confidential resources, or websites you are not authorized to assess.

You must not bypass access controls, evade rate limits, probe infrastructure, overload third-party websites, harass others, submit malicious URLs, interfere with SlopCheck, or use reports in a misleading or unlawful way.

We may reject, block, rate-limit, suspend, delete, or refuse scans or accounts if we believe use is unsafe, abusive, unauthorized, unlawful, or harmful to SlopCheck or others.

You are responsible for your account, credentials, profile information, submitted URLs, and activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.

You retain any rights you have in submitted URLs or website content. You grant SlopCheck permission to fetch, process, store, and analyze submitted URLs and related scan data as needed to provide, secure, operate, and improve the service.

Reports are informational only. They are not legal, security, SEO, investment, business, or professional advice. You are responsible for how you interpret and use any report.

SlopCheck may access third-party websites based on user-submitted URLs. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, rules, blocking behavior, terms, or technical responses.

Scores and reports may be incomplete, unavailable, delayed, or incorrect. Results can be affected by redirects, site availability, blocking, rendering behavior, page changes, crawl limits, scoring limitations, and other technical factors.

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of SlopCheck at any time.

SlopCheck may include optional, experimental, non-core, or public-facing features. We may change, reset, moderate, remove, or disable those features at any time.

User-generated profile names, scores, labels, or other public-facing content may be moderated, removed, or reset if we believe they are abusive, misleading, unlawful, or harmful to the service.

SlopCheck, including its software, interface, scoring logic, report formats, branding, graphics, and other service materials, is owned by Gwinyai Nyatsoka or applicable licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of SlopCheck to you.

Use of SlopCheck is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, retained, exported, and deleted.

We may suspend or terminate access to SlopCheck if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse the service, or if continued access would harm SlopCheck or others.

SlopCheck is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gwinyai Nyatsoka and SlopCheck will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, reputational harm, business interruption, third-party claims, or decisions made based on SlopCheck reports.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for any claim relating to SlopCheck will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use SlopCheck in the three months before the claim or 100 USD.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gwinyai Nyatsoka and SlopCheck from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of SlopCheck, unauthorized scans, submitted URLs, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of SlopCheck after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or SlopCheck must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
